OpenAI is moving forward with a 28-day continuous improvement plan. After listening to user feedback, the company has announced that usage limits for Pro and Business Premium users are being doubled, effective immediately. Previously, following September 29, the usage allowance for newly subscribed Pro 200 users had been halved, and the grace period for existing users was originally set to end on October 30. With the new rules now in effect, quotas for both groups of Pro 200 users will be uniformly restored to the original higher level. Under the adjusted policy, Pro 200 users can use GPT-6 Pro 200 times per week, with no 5-hour usage cap; included usage for ChatGPT Work and Codex is 20 times that of Plus; the Ultrafast feature remains exclusive to Pro 500, and the Plus membership quota remains unchanged. Thibault Sottiaux, head of OpenAI's core products and platform, previously promised to continuously roll out improvements related to Codex and ChatGPT Work starting October 5. Multiple model, speed, and caching optimizations have now been implemented, and some web version ChatGPT users have received a notice about the merger of chat mode and work mode.
