On October 29, during the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit, Dowson Tong, the Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent Group, officially unveiled BuddyOne—a cross-application AI collaboration system tailored for individual users. Utilizing WorkBuddy as its core workspace, the system seamlessly integrates tools such as Tencent Docs, Ima, and Tencent Design. This integration facilitates multimodal content creation and team collaboration through unified accounts, a shared points system, and a consolidated data pool. The enterprise version of WorkBuddy has already been adopted across more than 50 industries, encompassing 50% of China's Fortune 500 companies and 60% of the nation's top 100 enterprises. It boasts a network of over 50,000 open platform partners and developers. In tandem with these developments, Tencent announced the imminent release of the Hunyuan large model, Hy4. In comparison to its preview version, Hy4 showcases marked enhancements in long-context comprehension and real-world productivity tasks, introducing visual understanding capabilities for the first time. Furthermore, the Hy4 flash variant is set to debut soon, promising exceptional cost-efficiency. Additionally, Tencent Cloud has witnessed a triple-digit growth in overseas AI demand. WorkBuddy is poised to fully open its product architecture, thereby fostering the integration of both enterprise-developed and third-party AI agents.
