The cumulative scale of debt financing in the global artificial intelligence sector is approximately US$500 billion. PIMCO, a bond giant that previously drove the financing boom in this sector, has significantly reduced its large holdings, starting to trim some positions just months after acquisition. Funds under PIMCO were involved in bond transactions related to Meta worth approximately US$18 billion and Oracle-related transactions worth US$10 billion. Currently, holdings in both investments have been reduced by about 50%, with the reductions carried out when the prices of the relevant bonds were relatively high.
