AI pharmaceutical company Iambic Therapeutics announced the latest clinical results from the Phase I/Ib trial of its AI-designed HER2 small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor, IAM1363. Among 122 participants with HER2-abnormal advanced solid tumors who had failed multiple lines of treatment, most patients in specific dose groups achieved partial remission or stable disease. Preliminary anti-tumor activity was also observed in patients with brain metastases, with some maintaining remission for over a year. The drug demonstrated a low incidence of treatment-related adverse events and favorable safety at the recommended dose. Iambic recently completed its IPO on Nasdaq, raising funds to support its AI-driven drug development platform, which leverages computational chemistry expertise and has developed multiple core technologies. The company continues to advance its pipeline and has established collaborations with several international pharmaceutical giants. Currently, AI-assisted anti-cancer drug development by multiple companies has entered human trial stages, though larger-scale clinical studies are still needed to validate efficacy and safety.
