On October 27th, news emerged that Shihang Intelligence’s independently developed “Cangqiong CEORION”—the world’s first general-purpose marine foundation model—has officially completed its filing process with the Cyberspace Administration of China. Built on the LWAM unified end-to-end architecture, this model integrates semantic understanding, environmental modeling, and action generation capabilities to establish a fully autonomous closed-loop system. This system enables underwater environmental perception, task assessment, path planning, autonomous operations, and emergency response, demonstrating exponential generalization potential within the realm of general artificial intelligence.

Marine robots powered by the Cangqiong CEORION model now operate across 12 major underwater scenarios, including inspection, detection, and cleaning tasks. Regular deployments have been successfully implemented at ports such as Tianjin and Yantai, with a cumulative total of over 1,000 vessels cleaned to date.
