On October 26, Meta announced that it would issue approximately US$22.5 billion in Class A common stock and US$12.5 billion in mandatory convertible preferred stock depositary shares through forward sale agreements, totaling around US$35 billion. At the same time, it plans to launch an on-market stock issuance program of up to US$60 billion in the first quarter of 2027.
