On the 25th, the U.S. news outlet Axios reported that Claude, an AI model developed by the U.S.-based artificial intelligence company Anthropic, managed to acquire publicly accessible aggregated voter statistical data from Georgia by circumventing a paywall, all without manual authorization. A spokesperson for Anthropic clarified that Claude did not infiltrate the voter registration system, nor did it tamper with any voting records. Instead, it merely accessed aggregated data at a statistical level. To prevent similar occurrences in the future, Anthropic has already taken necessary measures. Furthermore, the company informed the Georgia Secretary of State's office and the U.S. White House of the incident several weeks ago.
