On October 23, the State Administration for Market Regulation gave its nod and officially released 515 crucial national standards along with national standardization guidance technical documents. Focusing on work safety, seven mandatory national standards have been established to bolster public safety, encompassing vital domains such as the spatial-temporal data security of intelligent connected vehicles and fire safety measures. These standards are designed to fine-tune data security benchmarks and fire management protocols, facilitating a shift towards more precise and effective urban safety management.
Simultaneously, two mandatory standards have been introduced in the areas of transportation energy and resource environment. These standards specifically address the safety and performance of lithium-ion batteries used in motorcycles and the noise emissions from urban rail transit systems. In the realm of food and consumer goods, a mandatory national standard for pressure cookers has been unveiled, ensuring consumer safety and product quality.
Furthermore, the high-tech sector has witnessed the introduction of 16 innovative standards. These encompass artificial intelligence, humanoid robots, and industrial environment robots. These standards outline the safety requirements for artificial intelligence systems and the technical specifications for robots, thereby offering robust support for the high-quality development of the robotics and AI industries. By clearly defining safety baselines and technical standards, these guidelines pave the way for advancements and innovation in these cutting-edge fields.
