The Japan Digital Agency has released a statement revealing that a number of websites developed via the AI-driven website construction tool, Studio, have fallen victim to hacking incidents. This has led to the unauthorized disclosure of 13,323 public web form submissions collected from May 2021 to March 2023. The compromised data encompasses a wide range of general feedback and recommendations, queries regarding vaccine verification, specifics of workshop events, and consultations related to job recruitment, among others. Notably, the personal details of the individuals who made these inquiries, including their names, email addresses, and the content of their messages, have all been compromised. Furthermore, certain inquiry avenues also divulged information pertaining to associated organizations, postal addresses, and contact numbers. At the time of the announcement, there had been no evidence of any subsequent harm arising from the exploitation of this leaked information.
