According to a Bank of America survey, global investors are actively chasing the AI-driven stock market rally, with their allocation to tech stocks rising to the highest level since the post-COVID market rebound. The proportion of fund managers overweight in tech stocks has reached 37%, the highest since August 2020. About 45% of respondents expect an AI bubble to emerge by 2027, while 42% disagree. As a hot investment theme, AI has driven the S&P 500 index to accumulate a nearly 120% gain over four years. However, as investors increasingly question whether AI investment returns can cover massive technology expenditures, some enthusiasm for AI investments has waned. The survey also revealed that global semiconductor stocks have become the most crowded trade in the current market.
