According to sources familiar with the matter, a startup developing AI video tools for film professionals is in talks with OpenAI to obtain the Sora model for secondary development and to sell related software and services. The company, first reported by the media last month, was co-founded in recent months by Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg, former Sora project research lead Bill Peebles, and former Dropbox CFO Sujay Jaswa. The company has not yet announced its name.
