According to a Bernstein research report, driven by the surge in AI data center construction, U.S. power demand is expected to continue growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4% through 2030. The firm's analysts have revised their long-term power growth forecast from 3% to 4%, projecting that the U.S. will see an additional power demand of approximately 1,000 terawatt-hours between 2025 and 2030, with data centers expected to account for more than half of this new load.
