On October 10, it was reported that the ion-trap quantum computer independently developed by Hefei Unitary Quantum Technology Co., Ltd. recently passed the Quantum Volume (QV) 128 benchmark test, setting a new domestic public record. During the test, the quantum computer ran a 7-layer square quantum circuit on 7 qubits, incorporating over 500 single-qubit gates and more than 50 two-qubit gates, achieving a heavy output probability of 0.707, which exceeds the benchmark threshold.
