On October 8, the Doubao native application was officially introduced to Huawei’s HarmonyOS PC, enabling users to effortlessly search for and download it via the HarmonyOS App Market. The inaugural version of the app features two models, Doubao-Seed-2.1 Pro and Turbo, tailored to two distinct modes: Chat and Work. Within the Work mode, users have the capability to establish goals, append files, initiate projects, link to local folders, and carry out scheduled tasks. Additionally, it provides functionalities such as in-depth research, PPT creation, and image generation. Given that HarmonyOS PC operates independently of the Windows system, mainstream applications necessitate native redevelopment, thereby creating a significant void for general AI assistants within the HarmonyOS PC environment. The introduction of the Doubao native application signifies the fulfillment of the HarmonyOS PC ecosystem at the foundational AI level.
