As per Neowin, Microsoft is gearing up to modify the rights allocation system for Copilot and its associated AI functionalities within Microsoft 365. The tech giant aims to remove the current limitation where only subscribers can access these features independently. Instead, primary subscribers of Microsoft 365 Family and Premium subscriptions will be able to extend the use of Copilot and related AI capabilities to up to five family members. Additionally, subscribers will gain the capacity to oversee AI access permissions for minor family members. At present, Microsoft has yet to make an official announcement regarding the precise launch date, the regions where this will be applicable, or the exact sharing quota.
