Sanghyun Lee, OpenAI's most senior public policy executive in the Asia-Pacific region, is set to leave his position after just six months, according to people familiar with the matter, at a time when the ChatGPT developer is facing scrutiny from regulators in the region. Based in Singapore, Lee joined OpenAI in April this year after six years at Google. The reason for his departure remains unclear.
