At 10 a.m. Pacific Time on October 7, NVIDIA convened a press conference in San Francisco, USA. During the event, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, reflected on the company's developmental trajectory, asserting that NVIDIA owes its existence to Windows. He noted that Windows 95 paved the way for integrating GPUs with PCs, and DirectX played a pivotal role in the nascent stages of PC graphics technology, laying the foundation for NVIDIA CUDA.

During the conference, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Jensen Huang, and Sriram Krishnan, a former senior AI policy advisor to the White House, participated in a dialogue. Jensen Huang highlighted that tools such as Blender, Omniverse, and CUDA must operate on the same computer as AI, stressing that AI computing should not be confined to large data centers but should also extend to the desktop environments of developers and enterprise users. With the expansion of model sizes and the rising demand for privacy, low latency, and local processing, personal devices must possess enhanced AI inference and development capabilities. NVIDIA aims to deepen its integration with the Microsoft Windows ecosystem by incorporating high-performance GPUs, unified memory, and AI software stacks into Windows devices, thereby assisting developers in constructing and executing AI applications within a familiar operating system environment.
