Anthropic has started adding simplified and traditional Chinese interfaces for Claude. The language menus on both the web and desktop versions now include corresponding options, and some accounts can directly display Chinese upon opening. Previously, Claude already supported Chinese conversations but lacked an official Chinese interface, leading many Chinese users to use interfaces in other languages or browser translations. Currently, Anthropic has not officially announced this update, and the official language settings instructions do not include Chinese. Additionally, the launch of the Chinese interface does not mean that Claude has opened up to the Chinese mainland market; its currently supported regions still do not include the Chinese mainland, but regions such as Singapore and Taiwan are already supported.
