Following the Huawei Full Connect Conference, Huawei unveiled the details of Xu Zhijun's media interaction, centering on an in-depth explanation of the Ascend 950 super node product, the current state of the domestic computing power market, and the trajectory of independent chip development. The Ascend 950 super node is built upon a cutting-edge Peerium computing architecture, which enables the integration of numerous processors to facilitate peer-to-peer resource interconnection and cater to the immense computing power requirements of large-scale model training. At present, the production capacity of this product falls short of fully satisfying domestic demand. Consequently, Huawei has no intention of launching it on a large scale in overseas markets, opting instead to conduct tests and supply in a select few countries. According to Huawei's data, the market share of Ascend series products in the domestic market has eclipsed that of NVIDIA. Nevertheless, Xu Zhijun also highlighted the challenges in acquiring precise market share data of competitors. He underscored that achieving self-sufficiency in the chip industry is an unavoidable path for domestic development. Although there is presently a disparity between domestic chip technology and the international pinnacle, a stable and controllable supply capability is of immense value, and the entire domestic semiconductor industry chain will ultimately attain self-reliance.
