By September 30, the aggregate wealth of roughly 100 tech tycoons, selected from the world's top 500 wealthiest individuals, had surged by a staggering $845 billion in the first nine months of the year, setting a new record for the same period in previous years. This remarkable growth is largely attributable to the artificial intelligence boom and the soaring performance of U.S. tech stocks. Presently, the total wealth of these tech billionaires has soared to $4.6 trillion, representing 36% of the combined wealth of all listed billionaires, with their numbers making up approximately one-fifth of the total. Over the same period, the combined wealth of billionaires in non-tech sectors saw a decline of $62 billion, with U.S. billionaires accounting for 94% of the net increase in wealth among the listed group. Since September 10, for the first time, all ten of the world's wealthiest individuals have hailed from the United States.
