During the 2026 Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple introduced its next-generation AI-driven Siri. Nevertheless, owing to the ramifications of the Digital Markets Act, this functionality did not roll out in the EU in tandem with iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. Presently, Apple is engaged in discussions with EU regulatory bodies and has not yet disclosed a definitive launch date for Siri AI within the EU. On an optimistic note, EU users are probably looking at a wait of at least another five months, though the actual timeframe could extend even further. Moreover, in the Chinese market, Siri AI must also adhere to regulatory stipulations to progress with its deployment, and as a result, it remains unavailable. On September 14, 2026, Siri AI was released as an English beta version, with intentions to broaden its availability to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish in October.
