Deutsche Telekom: AI and automation expected to save 2.5 billion euros in indirect costs by 2030

Deutsche Telekom stated that compared to 2023, it is expected that AI and automation will save the company approximately 1.1 billion euros in total costs outside the United States by 2027, and approximately 2.5 billion euros in indirect costs by 2030. Meanwhile, the company plans to invest some of the additional savings from 2027 in Germany's digital infrastructure and fiber-optic networks. Furthermore, Deutsche Telekom also aims to increase AI-related revenue from its business operations outside the United States to approximately 800 million euros by 2030.
