Masayoshi Son, the leader of SoftBank Group, is a staunch believer in artificial intelligence, but he has expressed concerns about safety risks as machines rapidly acquire more capabilities. Speaking alongside Michael Kratsios, the White House science and technology policy advisor, at the 'Technology and Society' forum in Kyoto, Son stated that the exponential growth of AI capabilities requires countries to build mutual trust and jointly navigate this technology.
