On October 2, 2026, Microsoft unveiled its innovative mAI-transcribe-2-streaming service, which encompasses the cutting-edge Mai-Transcribe and Mai-Voice models. Notably, the Mai-Transcribe-2 model, which was introduced on September 3 of the same year, boasts support for 60 languages and achieves an impressive average word error rate of just 5.2%.
