On September 30, according to the Financial Times, London-based AI voice startup ElevenLabs has doubled its valuation to $22 billion following an equity deal, making it one of the world's most valuable AI labs. The company, which specializes in developing realistic voice generation software, saw existing investors and employees sell shares worth $300 million in a transaction led by Wellington Management and T. Rowe Price. This deal has doubled ElevenLabs' valuation since its last funding round in February this year, bringing it close to the valuation of French AI startup Mistral. Mistral completed a €3 billion funding round this month at a valuation of €21 billion (approximately $24 billion), marking the largest private tech funding in Europe.
