San Francisco is set to host OpenAI's annual developer conference, DevDay, where the latest achievements of the laboratory will be unveiled. According to sources familiar with the matter, OpenAI is expected to announce multiple new products, including a brand-new resident online AI agent, with developers being able to experience at least one new model. However, this conference will not introduce an iterative version of OpenAI's most powerful model, Astra, as the company has canceled its release due to safety considerations. Nevertheless, sources indicate that new models in the Astra series will still be introduced in the future.
