On September 29th, Xiao Hong, the founder of Manus, published a lengthy article on the Jike platform. In the article, he stated that at the time of Manus's inception, there were no comparable products on a global scale, such as Codex or the collaborative efforts involving Claude. Manus has consistently positioned itself as a "general agent (generagent)." According to Xiao Hong, using Manus is akin to purchasing a computer. While most users buy computers primarily for work purposes, a computer that couldn't be used for watching videos or playing games would come across as rather dull and unappealing.
