On September 29, Reuters brought to light that artificial intelligence firm Anthropic, in its IPO prospectus, issued a stark warning: its cutting-edge AI technology has the potential to unleash catastrophic or even existential threats upon humanity. Out of the 261-page prospectus, a substantial portion—around 80 pages—is dedicated to outlining these risks.
