On September 29, the International Data Corporation (IDC) released its latest report, projecting that global shipments of humanoid robots will soar to nearly 25,000 units in the first half of 2026, marking a significant 432.1% increase compared to the same period the previous year. This trend signifies the industry's transition from the stage of technological validation to that of commercial application. The application scenarios for humanoid robots are continuously expanding, encompassing a wide range of fields such as industrial manufacturing, retail, transportation and logistics, leisure and tourism, as well as household consumption. Simultaneously, the competitive landscape within the industry has shifted its focus from the mere performance of the robots themselves to the comprehensive capabilities of embodied intelligence. IDC further forecasts that by 2030, global shipments of humanoid robots will surpass 750,000 units, propelling the market into a phase of rapid growth and widespread adoption.
