Samsung has agreed to invest $1 billion in Helix Digital Infrastructure, an AI infrastructure firm supported by KKR and Nvidia, further fueling the financing boom in the AI infrastructure sector. Following this investment, the total funds raised by the Helix platform will exceed $11 billion, which will be used to advance its business plans, including the construction of next-generation data centers and power generation and transmission facilities to meet AI demands. Helix CEO and co-founder Adam Selipsky stated that Samsung's investment reflects trust in the company's strategy, which aims to rapidly build increasingly complex AI infrastructures for large cloud service providers to meet unprecedented demand.
