On September 28, Pang Xiaogang, the Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, announced at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office that the '15th Five-Year Plan' for central enterprises has been officially released. According to the plan, by 2030, the added value derived from strategic emerging industries among central enterprises is projected to rise by an additional 5 percentage points. The plan underscores the importance of bolstering support for fundamental sectors such as industrial software and key components. It advocates for the widespread application of artificial intelligence across diverse industries, the innovation of service industry development models, the cultivation of emerging pillar industries, and the enhancement of support and safeguards in public service sectors. Furthermore, the plan urges the acceleration of the construction of six networks and advocates for increased investment in public service sectors, encompassing producer services, consumer services, and emergency industries.
