At the 2026 Meta Connect conference, the spotlight was firmly on personal super intelligence, with metaverse-related content taking a backseat. During the event, Zuckerberg unveiled Muse as the cornerstone of Meta's future AI vision, with the ambition to transform it into a personal super intelligence system serving billions of users worldwide. Muse operates within a dedicated, private, and secure computing environment, emphasizing seamless, continuous task execution. It adopts a transaction-based revenue-sharing business model, ensuring sustainability and growth. The system already caters to a wide array of life scenarios, boasting features such as multi-terminal operation, email processing, and a plethora of third-party service connectors. Moreover, Meta has opened up the connector platform and is constantly refining its underlying models to enhance performance.

In addition to its AI advancements, Meta has revamped its smart glasses product lines to cater to diverse price points and user needs. The $349 camera-free audio glasses are designed for all-day comfort and wearability. The third-generation Ray-Ban Meta glasses, starting at $449, come with upgraded features like photography capabilities. The Ray-Ban Display, equipped with a screen, further expands the range, offering over a hundred glasses options by the end of the year, along with innovative features such as hearing enhancement and seamless access to Muse.

Meta also introduced a high-end, split-style VR headset weighing just around 100 grams. This lightweight device is tailored for scenarios like movie watching, immersive events, and multi-screen office work. Priced at $1,299.99, it is slated for launch in the spring of 2027. Simultaneously, Meta announced the Muse Charm, a pocket-sized AI hardware device that serves as an independent and portable gateway to Muse. Plans are underway to ship it before the holiday season in December 2026.

Overall, Meta has crafted a comprehensive product ecosystem where Muse provides the AI brainpower, various glasses act as the primary gateways, VR glasses cater to high-end demands, and Muse Charm fills in the gaps for non-wearable scenarios.
