Albanese mentioned that he had discussed the matter with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, voicing his concern and dissatisfaction regarding the breach. This was due to the fact that OpenAI only informed the Australian government on September 10, a staggering three months after the incident occurred, and the way in which they were notified was deemed unacceptable. In response, Australia has assembled an investigative team to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the matter and evaluate the potential for legal action against OpenAI.
