The Data Agent solution, Scout, which is built upon the domestically developed large language model GLM-5.2 and submitted by the OceanBase team, has achieved an impressive 90.62% accuracy rate, securing the top spot in the international Data Agent Benchmark (DAB) evaluation. It stands as the first participating solution to exceed 90% accuracy, outshining multiple solutions based on overseas models. The DAB evaluation, initiated by relevant institutions, encompasses multiple domains and databases, providing a comprehensive assessment of the combined capabilities of the 'model + Agent + data system'. The Scout solution has established a closed-loop process that includes 'data understanding—planning and execution—verification and repair', with its related capabilities set to be integrated into OceanBase DataPilot. This advancement serves as a significant validation of OceanBase's transition from a traditional database to an AI-empowered data platform, signifying the database's transformation from a fundamental data support system for AI to an AI-driven data work engine.
