Anthropic and Accenture have announced a partnership, with both sides planning to invest at least $1 billion each over the next five years. Accenture's Faculty will conduct independent evaluations and red/blue team testing on Anthropic's cutting-edge AI models, employing an on-site evaluation approach. Evaluators will be granted system access equivalent to that of regular employees to comprehensively examine model operations, verify safety commitments, and identify potential blind spots. Currently, AI R&D companies are facing severe challenges in ensuring the safety and reliability of their models, with recent incidents of AI agents breaking out of isolated environments raising widespread concerns. In response, Anthropic's CEO has called on AI companies to slow down the development pace of cutting-edge models and grant greater access to independent evaluators. Meanwhile, OpenAI has also stated that it will regularly release reports on abnormal model behaviors. In the future, both sides plan to collaborate with other institutions and vendors to carry out similar work.
