On September 19, recent presentation materials obtained by the Financial Times revealed that OpenAI is projected to accumulate nearly $280 billion in expenditures by the end of 2030. Of this, the company expects to generate a negative free cash flow of up to $278 billion over the five-year period from 2026 to 2030, primarily to expand its computing capacity channels. During the same period, the company's revenue is expected to grow 10-fold, from $36 billion this year to $350 billion in 2030, with cumulative revenue projected to reach $840 billion. OpenAI also anticipates that by the end of 2030, its investments in computing capacity and infrastructure will reach approximately $856 billion, becoming its largest single expenditure.
