Given the exponential surge in the capabilities of state-of-the-art AI systems and the rapid advancement of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) technology pathways, the research teams at Google and its AI research and development arm, Google DeepMind, have recently declared the launch of the DeepMind Institute (DMI).
