On September 17, according to the Financial Times, Emulate, a UK-based AI startup founded just a month ago by former DeepMind researchers, is launching a new round of financing worth hundreds of millions of dollars at a post-investment valuation of nearly $4 billion. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Emulate is in advanced negotiations with potential investors, planning to raise up to $700 million, with a post-funding valuation expected to reach $3.7 billion. This substantial funding round will be jointly led by UK venture capital firm Index Ventures and Silicon Valley's Lightspeed Venture Partners.
