Nokia announced that it will expand AI-RAN trial collaboration with telecom operators in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. Its AI-RAN platform integrates AI-native anyRAN software with NVIDIA Aerial RAN computing, enhancing network capacity and spectral efficiency, with over a 20% improvement in spectral efficiency already achieved. Additionally, Nokia plans to further enhance efficiency through software upgrades in 2027 and 2028.
