The Gates Foundation plans to invest at least $1 billion over the next two years to enhance the accessibility of artificial intelligence. Co-founder Bill Gates has warned that the widespread adoption of AI could exacerbate global wealth inequality. He stated that the funds will be used to develop tools for education, healthcare, and agriculture, as well as to support the inclusion of non-English materials in large datasets to meet the needs of non-English-speaking developers. The Gates Foundation plans to donate a cumulative total of $200 billion before its closure in 2045.
