Moonshot AI plans to significantly boost its annualized revenue to $2 billion by the end of this year. According to sources familiar with the matter, its annual recurring revenue (a key metric for future sales performance) surpassed $1 billion in August, a substantial increase from $300 million in June. This growth is primarily attributed to the company's AI model, Kimi K3, released in July, which has demonstrated exceptional performance in multiple benchmark tests. As consumer and enterprise interest in Kimi's subscription services and Moonshot AI's online-hosted models grows, the company anticipates its revenue will double again. Internally, the company forecasts that annualized revenue will reach $2 billion by the end of this year. The sources requested anonymity as the information has not been publicly disclosed.
