At the AI Payment Forum held during the 2026 Inclusion・The Bund Summit, Ant Group unveiled APASS, a trust infrastructure meticulously crafted to bolster the commercial endeavors of agents. Rooted in the KYA (Know Your Agent) concept, APASS constructs two robust trust chains—one for identity and another for behavior—by leveraging trusted agent identity products and sophisticated risk control services. This innovative framework offers a suite of functionalities, including identity registration, ongoing verification, intent security, and reliable evidence storage, thereby effectively mitigating trust-related challenges in commercial activities involving agents.

As agents evolve from mere tools to fully-fledged commercial entities, traditional trust systems have found it increasingly arduous to keep pace with these dynamic demands. APASS, however, steps in to establish a seamless trust mechanism that permeates every stage of agent commercial activities, encompassing both identity and behavior management. To date, APASS has successfully onboarded over 1 million agents, catered to 442 service providers, and fostered collaborations with more than 50 institutions to co-build a thriving ecosystem.

Furthermore, APASS is designed to be in harmony with international protocols, thereby facilitating cross-border scenarios and enhancing its global applicability. Ant Group is proactively extending its trust capabilities to agent scenarios, delving into the exploration of establishing actionable trust not only between humans and agents but also among agents themselves, thus paving the way for a more secure and interconnected commercial landscape.
