On September 7, Paul Chan, the Financial Secretary of Hong Kong, delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 'Co-create and Co-invest Industry Acceleration Summit,' hosted by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. He highlighted that Hong Kong has witnessed substantial growth in the export of electronic products and semiconductors, coupled with a robust demand in the capital market for listings of artificial intelligence firms. As a global financial hub, Hong Kong is adept at attracting international talent and is swiftly evolving into an innovation powerhouse, perfectly complementing the unique strengths of cities within the Greater Bay Area (GBA). GBA cities excel in advanced manufacturing, commercialization, and scaling operations, with the 'Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou' corridor recognized as a world-leading innovation cluster. Chan also mentioned that the World Intellectual Property Organization is set to unveil its new rankings tomorrow, an announcement he is eagerly anticipating with confidence.
