China has just published its inaugural 'Preliminary Report on the Behavioral Patterns of Chinese Office AI Agent Users.' Leveraging authentic user data sourced from LobsterAI, the report uncovers a notable 'head effect' in the utilization of office AI agents. Specifically, the top 20% of users are responsible for consuming a staggering 87.4% of the total computing power, while the top 5% alone account for 53.5% of the token usage. Paid users demonstrate exceptionally high engagement levels, with their token consumption, task volume, and monthly active days being 6.2-fold, 5.2-fold, and 3.0-fold higher than those of free users, respectively. The primary driver behind the decision to opt for paid services is the intensive usage of the agents. Beyond simple Q&A interactions, users are increasingly entrusting complex, long-term, and in-depth work tasks to these AI agents. Data indicates that the scale of individual tasks has expanded by 3.1 times over the past five months, with a notable month-on-month surge of 53% observed in August.
