On September 3, it was reported that Meta announced in an internal notice this week that employee performance evaluations will no longer be based on metrics such as AI tool usage, including Token consumption. Previously, Meta encouraged employees to enhance their 'AI-driven impact,' making AI usage a focal point of work. Meanwhile, Meta employees have begun testing a new agent AI tool called Hatch. Some employees noted that although performance evaluations no longer emphasize AI usage, the use of tools like Hatch still leads to increased Token consumption.
