On September 1, Alibaba's QianWen App underwent a significant enhancement of its learning features. The upgraded version now offers new unit-based tutoring services that are seamlessly aligned with textbook content, providing in-depth explanations for junior high school Chinese and mathematics curricula. Additionally, it has expanded its capabilities to elucidate high school and university-level science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) problems through photo-based problem-solving. All these features are accessible to users free of cost. This update places a strong emphasis on guiding students through the learning process, minimizing the provision of direct answers, and concentrating on tutoring that centers on the 'why' and 'how to think' aspects of learning.
