On August 31, reports emerged indicating that leading domestic AI chip companies have been unveiling their semi-annual reports one after another throughout August. Last Friday, Biren Technology's financial report revealed a staggering revenue increase of nearly 20 times. Meanwhile, companies like Cambricon and Moore Threads also witnessed substantial revenue growth.

This remarkable performance can be attributed to the current market scenario where the demand for high-end computing power far exceeds the available supply. Presently, there exists a scarcity of high-end computing power throughout the entire supply chain. Some companies have already secured orders for the next three years, underscoring the intense market demand.

Not only are downstream intelligent computing centers grappling with resource constraints, but the midstream system integration sector is also witnessing a surge in order releases. According to industry research, the demand for domestic AI chips is projected to reach around 4 million units by 2026. However, actual deliveries are anticipated to be only approximately 3 million units, indicating a production capacity gap of over a million units.

The industry believes that domestic chips are currently in a robust upward cycle within the high-end AI chip sector, with financial data from multiple companies collectively demonstrating growth.
