The South Korean government has set its sights on providing free generative AI services to all citizens, enabling them to effortlessly manage daily affairs, including scheduling medical appointments, searching for housing, and processing tax-related matters. This ambitious initiative is designed to broaden the reach of local AI systems and enhance the government's role in integrating AI applications into public services. Beta testing for the program is slated to begin in September, with a full-scale official launch anticipated within the same year. To support this endeavor, the government will allocate up to 512 NVIDIA B200 chips and offer subsidies to cover operational expenses.
