On August 28, news emerged that Beijing's inaugural humanoid robot data training center had ceased operations. The center's core equipment and technology were supplied by Reerman Intelligence. A representative from Reerman Intelligence clarified that this move signifies a strategic evolution in the company's data collection model, transitioning from version 1.0 to 2.0. Previously, the Beijing center employed a centralized deployment strategy, focusing on data collection and verification within 'laboratory settings.' However, for embodied AI to perform optimally, it necessitates data derived from authentic, real-world environments. Consequently, the company has redirected its efforts towards the Changzhou Embodied AI Data Experiment Platform (Data Collection Center Version 2.0). This platform utilizes 150 RealBOT robots, encompassing over 1,000 operational tasks in real-world scenarios. It leverages the GLN remote operation network to facilitate large-scale robot deployment in genuine settings such as factories and warehouses, enabling data collection during actual operations.
