In reaction, the Danish government has unveiled an emergency initiative aimed at curbing AI-assisted cheating. This plan encompasses a range of strategies, including the incorporation of oral defense components, the surveillance of students' computer screens during exams, the implementation of internet filtering measures, and the promotion of completing written tasks in a supervised campus setting. There is a consensus among stakeholders that AI should not be outright prohibited on campuses; rather, it should be harnessed in a judicious manner. Moreover, Australian universities are revising their examination and evaluation protocols by reinstating oral and offline exams.
